Brown ground beef with seasoned salt, salt, chili seasoning packet and finely chopped onion.
While that is browning...in a large crock pot:
Combine
beans and sauce. Begin to heat on high.
When the ground beef is browned, drain it and add Rotel. Heat and stir @10 min. more, and then add to crock pot.
Spread 1/2 cup of sugar on top and stir in. Continue to heat, stirring occasionally, until bubbly. Add salt, sugar, or chili powder to taste. Turn heat to low and cook for 1-3 hours, turning off, or to warm 25 minutes before serving. Serve a la carte with macaroni, rice, shredded cheddar cheese and Fritos. |
