Alfredo Sauce |
Ingredients |

- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Additional parmesan for sprinkling

Directions |
- Melt butter in large skillet; add cream, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes uncovered to reduce and thicken sauce.
- Remove from heat and add cooked pasta and 1 cup parmesan. Toss to combine and serve immediately with an extra sprinkling of parmesan over the top, if desired.
This recipe works with a 16-ounce package of pasta. |
